How often should you water a cactus?
Cactus or succulent plants die due to excess water. Because they are desert plants, meaning they need very little water. Learn some useful tips about succulent care.
- Give cactus plants a little water once a week. They usually retain water. It is seen that sometimes the soil at the top is dry but the soil at the bottom is wet. If you water again in such a situation, the roots of the plant will rot. If you want, you can also water it once in ten days. However, do not give excess water under any circumstances.
- Succulent plants love sunlight, so place them in a location that gets at least two hours of direct sunlight.
- If the color of the tree or leaves changes, you will know that you are giving the tree more water than necessary.
- Do not plant cacti or succulents in sticky soil. Plant these plants in loose soil mixed with sand.
- If insects attack, mix neem oil with water and spray it.
