What to do if your clothes smell bad in humid weather
There is no continuous sunshine. During this time, wet weather and humidity in the air prevent wet clothes from drying properly. As a result, clothes get a bad smell. If you want to remove this musty smell from clothes, here are some tips.
- Fabric conditioners are available in the market, which give clothes a fresh scent and prevent the formation of bacteria. You can use these during the rainy season.
- Mix lemon juice in the water used to soak clothes. Your clothes will not smell bad.
- If your clothes still smell musty after drying, you can wash them with vinegar or baking soda. Soaking your clothes in a solution of one cup of white vinegar or half a cup of baking soda in water and then washing them can greatly reduce the smell.
- After washing, don't just drain the water and wring the clothes. Wring them out very well and then wring them out. This will reduce the drying time.
- Fold the cloth and keep it in a dry place. Place a few cloves in the middle of the cloth.
- If you get fungus on your clothes, rub a mixture of salt and lemon on them, leave them for a while, and then wash them. The fungus will be removed.
- Keep a packet of silica gel in the clothes. Silica gel absorbs moisture from the air. This prevents mold from growing on clothes.

- Black stains fall off quickly on white cotton clothes. To get rid of this, wash cotton clothes quickly when they get wet in the rain. If the stains fall off, wash them with detergent. The black stains will go away.
